Will was the first herd sire we purchased after we fell in love with him when he was at our farm breeding one of our females. He is amazingly dense with long staple length. In fact, he was one of the top 5 alpacas in the EpD program for staple length in 2012. Fortunately he passes that on to his crias as well. Will has “the look” with tremendous coverage, broad chest, and typey face and is well balanced. His first cria has done very well in the show ring. Will is a very gentle male alpaca. He is our “PR” man at alpaca days because even the youngest visitors can lead him around without being scared. He is just a nice overall alpaca who can bring champion genetics to your herd.

Salute is the herdsire that everyone dreams of having on their farm.  He has been a show stopper since the beginning winning 2 Reserve CC as a juvi and CC as a yearling.  He has extremely fine fleece with matchstick staples and high frequency crimp.  Judges comment on his consistency from top knot to back hocks and the extreme character his fleece demonstrates.  In addition, he earns extra points for good substance of bone and conformation. EPDs demonstrate Top 5% for SDAFD and SF, Top 10% for AFD , and Top 15% for %F > 30 and FW.  Salute’s first four cria are absolutely gorgeous.  He is ready to add his elite fleece to your breeding program.  Salute is co-owned with Craig and Marcy Bicknell and Nancy Uhrich.

This girl is a true beauty. Extremely high frequency crimp, fineness and an incredible hand. Abby has a perfect pairing of phenotype and genotype. We can’t wait to see what she does in her breeding years.  She is currently bred to our multichampion herdsire Salute for a May 2019 birth.  For now though, we are just going to gush over her fleece.  She sells with an additional complimentary breeding to any of our herdsires.

Blue is a very special male who has placed at every show he has entered. This includes level five shows with some stiff competition. If you are looking to match your females with amazing fineness, density and extreme crimp, Blue is definitely one to consider. He is conformationally correct and has a perfect head and bite. His fleece is exceptionally fine, bright and displays high frequency crimp within well defined bundles. Current EPDs demonstrate Top 1% for MC, Top 5% for AFD and  SF. His fleece is pure heaven to touch and spin. We look forward to his upcoming breeding career! He is a small/compact male with an easy to handle temperament and curious personality.

Awards

Leo is a spectacular alpaca with perfect confirmation, great substance of bone, and a perfect bite. He is the son of Maple Brook Barnabus, a.k.a. “Mr. Fineness,” and he definitely lives up to his famous sire! Leo’s fleece is extremely fine a crimpy with a wonderful hand. He has done well in the show ring against stiff competition and continues to improve as time goes on.

We felt very fortunate to purchase a lovely dam who was bred to Red Granite’s Matrix Rose. That feeling escalated to elation when MR Mac arrived safely and lived up to our expectations and more. This boys lineage is packed with greatness including the legendary Victor’s Vaccoyo, Snowmass Matrix, and Dundee’s Aztec Adrenalin. He did well at his first show in a competitive field before his first shearing. Now after shearing we can really appreciate the fineness, crimp and consistency he displays. He also has very, very bright fleece. This one os going to be great!

We are absolutely thrilled with multi-champions Salute’s first crias to hit the ground, Pete being the spitting image of his sire.  He has the dense, bright, fine , crimpy matchstick bundles just like Salute.  2018 fiber testing showed AFD 15.0, SD 2.8, CV 18.3, and % >30 0.3.  Current EPDs demonstrate Top 5% AFD and SF and Top 10% SDAFD and MC.  And talk about bone!!  Perfect conformation to boot.    

“Ari” is a very compact male with incredibly dense fiber.  He has solid Grade 2 fiber.  His sire is black so Ari has the potential to throw black.  If you want density, he is the sire for you!!  Check out his histogram :).
